Our Mission:
Bereaved Families of Ontario - York Region, is a not-for-profit, registered charity, whose mission is to provide volunteer bereavement support services to families and individuals grieving the death of a family member.

Our Vision:
To ensure that every individual grieving a death has access to caring and compassionate support.

Programs and services are offered free of charge to the bereaved. BFO-York Region receives no federal or municipal funding; nor are we a member of the United Way. Most of our funding comes from individuals and special fundraising events.

Please call us. We can offer support, information and referrals wherever you are on your grief journey.

Our office is open Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.; evenings available by appointment.
