Memory Woods Canada has generously offered Bereaved Families of Ontario - York Region an opportunity to partner with them. Memory Woods Canada will donate $10.00 per tree to BFO-YR when a tree is purchased through their website.

Memory Woods Canada is a private Canadian company which partners with individuals, allowing them a practical way to plant a memorial tree in honour of a friend or loved one. All memorial trees are planted on Canadian Crown Land and thus belong to the people of Canada. For the years 2000 and 2001, the planting projects included Lake McMannus at the east end of Algonquin Provincial Park. For 2002/2003, Memory Woods Canada is working with Ottawa Valley Forests to plant trees at the location of the Memorial Demonstration Forest, located on Crown Land just east of Algonquin Provincial Park.
