Our Mission
Bereaved Families of Ontario-York Region, is a not-for-profit, registered charity, whose mission is to provide volunteer bereavement support services to families and individuals grieving the death of a family member.

Our Vision
To ensure that every individual grieving a death has access to caring and compassionate support.

Programs and services are offered free of charge to the bereaved. BFOYR relies on the generosity of donations and funding from individuals, appeals, sponsors, special events and campaigns. At this time, we do not receive federal, provincial or municipal funding or United Way contributions, but we are actively advocating.

Call us. We can offer caring and compassionate information and referrals wherever you are on your grief journey.
